Bio
With a Master's in Urban Design from Georgia Tech and a background in architecture that's taken me from Atlanta to Los Angeles to Bangalore, I've spent the last few years working across master planning, community-focused development, and project delivery.
Somewhere in that work, a different question started pulling at me. Not how a building gets built, but what a place does to the person standing in it.
That question is what eventually brought me back to India after a few years in the US: a real pull to put ideas to work in the cities I actually grew up around, not just study them from a distance.
Alongside co-founding Majoris Projects, a Bangalore-based project management consultancy now ten years in, I've come to understand both sides of the built environment — how places are experienced and how they actually get delivered.
The intersection became Behind the City, a new practice built to actually answer how we can design cities around the psychological experiences of the people who move through them and turn that thinking into real, repeatable interventions in the everyday city. The system is location-specific by design, but repeatable in methodology.
